Rossella Montagna was born in Milan, lived many years of her life in Taranto, and in 2006 she moved to Rome, where she lives and works. Painter by vocation and natural inclination, since childhood she dedicates her life to art. Already very young, she began to paint by reproducing the greats of painting, in an instinctual path of research and knowledge. In this phase of his existence he also became a musician, studying for several years piano and modern singing, graduating in Theory and Solfeggio at the Lecce Conservatory. Subsequently the music is neglected, favoring painting, which makes it a reason and a choice of life. From those first unripe tests, the artist passes to more “arduous enterprises”, with oil paintings on canvas full of virtuosity, thanks to significant progress in mastering compositional techniques and a university study of the masters of Italian painting of the Humanistic period. Renaissance. The intensity with which he has always lived his life is deeply reflected in his introspective art, in which the creative impulse is supported by the core of all his previous experiences.
