I have always thought that my path was that of painting, drawing, sculpture, expressing myself through my art. I therefore decided to devote myself to artistic study by attending the Brera Art School, subsequently graduating from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and concluding with a specialization at the IED in Milan.
During the years of training I was able to experiment with various techniques and still amuses and fascinates me to try new ways to "work" on different materials. At the moment I focused in particular on the use of recycled wood from pallets as a pictorial support; I choose, clean up, cut and personally assemble the boards to be used and then paint over them with a brush with acrylic colors, the chiaroscuro I derive in particular from the combination of the brush and a cutter with which I engrave the wood to bring out the lights.
I love pop art and iconic subjects, when I'm not working on commission the main protagonists of my paintings are in fact people, inanimate objects or places that refer to the thought of something known to most people, something that is within everyone's reach, something that always carries to an idea of positivity.
In a sentence by Edward Hopper I find what has always been a thought of mine and which has given me the desire to draw: "If I could express it in words there would be no reason to paint it."
