Andrea Puca

The artist Andrea Puca was born in Rome, but currently lives and works in Cerveteri (RM). After obtaining the diploma of "Master of Art", he tried various painting techniques to make his own, using acrylic paints, oil pastels, applied on various types of supports (canvas, table, cardboard, mdf), sometimes characterized by intense brushstrokes, full of color; sometimes from an almost watercolor, uncertain, smoky and elusive liquidity. Human forms are almost always camouflaged and transformed.
Participates in various exhibitions, including: Bruxelles, New York, Montecarlo, Montréal, Bratislava, Venice and Rome. Exhibition events include: Chianciano Terme Biennale, Rome Triennale, "Pearls of the Mediterranean" at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, First Art Biennale Principality of Monaco, Capitolium Prize 2014-2015.
Awards and honors: during his artistic career he has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the special prize "La Nuova Voce" of "Natale di Roma" 2013. It appears in numerous publications, such as the Yearbook of Contemporary Art '13 "Artists" edited by Vittorio Sgarbi, the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Art "The Masters of the Century", edited by Salvatore Russo and Francesco Saverio Russo (year 2013), the volume Esposizionetriennalediartivisivearoma2014 Tiltestetica, curated by Daniele Radini Tedeschi.
