Alfredo Belli was born in Naples where he attended the faculty of architecture at the Federico II University. He worked as a graphic designer in periodical publishing.

In Rome, where he currently lives, he attended the European Institute of Design, graduating in illustration.

He worked as an illustrator for various advertising and communication agencies such as Young & Rubicam, creating images for clients such as Fiat, Ford, Assicurazioni Generali, Banca delle Marche.

He has worked for many years in the editorial illustration sector with Mondadori, Einaudi, RCS, Harper Collins, Hashette, Usborne, Pearson, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press and many others. Painting has always been a passion that he cultivated for the pure pleasure of painting.

Since 2020 he has begun to exhibit his paintings in

collective exhibitions in Rome (Palazzo Ferrajoli),

Modena (Galleria Condottospazioarte),

Gaeta (Pinacoteca Comunale),

Sambuci (Castello Theodoli)

a solo show in Milan (Salone del Design),

Rome (Galleria Contemporaryartshop ).
