Guelfenbein’s (1953) aesthetic is inspired by his nomadic lifestyle, sensibilities and Chilean blood. Dominated by a commanding presence of bold strokes and riveting colors, light refracts strongly on Gulefenbein’s works. The hills and valleys morphed by the thickness of his paint, generate a plethora of emotions; his constantly-changing shape, resembles a joyful cosmic reaction.

He always thinks and creates with his full heart and his ideals have remained the same throughout his career, as has the conceptual base of his works. He has held numerous successful exhibitions around the world; his works evoke a sense of power and trepidation shrouded in the vitality of thickly applied color strokes.
