Lorenzo Turini was born in Pontedera (Pisa) on 15 June 1986. He graduated in Cultural Heritage at the University of Pisa, studied the pictorial techniques of the ancients masters of Italian art, and attended the International School of Comics in Florence, where he has learned digital techniques, later working as a comic colorist for one important Italian publishing house. This experience allowed him to study the composition of colors and the secrets of light in scientific way, completing his artistic training. For some years he was also a followed and appreciated Art Blogger. The need to work with matter then led him to abandon these digital activities for devoting himself completely to painting, which has always been his greatest passion. In his paintings he combines his love for his Tuscany with a deep study of Caravaggio’s painting, creating landscapes focused on strong contrasts between light and shadow and on an intense but never realism photographic, which always shows the brushstroke. The contemporaneity of his painting lies in the expressionist rendering of contrasts, and therefore in research of a use of light in an expressionist key. In 2022 he participated in the ART-3F International Fair in the Principality of Monaco, exhibiting with QueenArtStudio Gallery, and at the “Brera International Contemporary Art Award”, exhibiting a his work at the Made4Art gallery, in Milan, in the renowned Brera district. The lithographic reproduction of the exhibited work was later acquired for an exhibition permanent from the ZeroUno gallery in Barletta. In 2021 and 2022 he was awarded the certificate of merit for the high quality of his artistic work from the Luxembourg Art Gallery, one of the most prestigious museums in the world
