Marica Baglieri, daughter of art (her father Gino Baglieri is one of the most famous Sicilian artists of our times) was born in 1986 and grew up in Vittoria, Sicily.

At the age of 18 he left and began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence where she graduated in Visual Arts and Multimedia Languages. During the years of specialization at the Academy, wanting to deepen his passion for Animation Cinema, she simultaneously enrolled at the private Nemo NT Academy, where he will acquire a second specialist qualification in Storyboard and Animation.

After completing her studies, she began her adventure in a Florentine advertising agency where she deepened her knowledge of storyboarding and then made the big leap when she was called, a few years later, to Milan to work on her first animated TV series at the very famous Studio Bozzetto . Thus began years of fruitful collaborations with various film studios, first as a storyboard artist and then as a concept artist, until Marica, wanting to return to her origins, began dedicating herself to painting and illustration again, embarking on a new path of personal research on herself and on a style that represents it.

This is how she was noticed by the largest Italian publishing group, RCS Group, who called her to take care of the advertising material for the prestigious Giro d’Italia Donne! Today Marica still collaborates with various platforms such as Netflix, Rai, etc… making her cultural/visual background available and continues her personal journey of pictorial research which she pours into her wonderful illustrations.
