Tommaso, born on 6/16/1975, has always lived and raised in Lecce, the capital of the Baroque and, one can say, the pearl of Salento. He is a self-taught artist, passionate about the colors and the light that they emanate, those colors and that light that, probably, were transmitted to him from the very places in which he was formed. He has always painted mostly for himself, a passion, a way to give vent to his creativity, using the most disparate supports and materials, passing from tempera to oil colors, from paint to sprays. We find, especially in his early works, the faces and bodies of women. Subsequently, he decided to undertake and carry on a painting that focuses on faces and characters and which, according to Elisabetta La Rosa, art manager, critic and art historian who follows and supports him, "They blend the most avant-garde pictorial techniques in the material fabric of the work ... fragmenting the compositional space through a sort of geometrization of the form, evoking a cubist matrix, through a sort of dense, meticulous elaboration, which tends to show the object in its many aspects, analyzing it according to a chromatic sensitivity of a pop matrix "... In recent years, preferring the use of acrylic colors on larger canvases from time to time (For the happiness of his wife!), he has stopped painting only for himself deciding to share his art with those who want to appreciate it. For some time now, he has begun to exhibit his works in art reviews and group exhibitions in Milan, Rome, Florence and Montecarlo, obtaining prizes and awards.
