Phyllis Chua, born in Malaysia and currently residing in Taipei, Taiwan. She is a skilled artist and accomplished pattern
designer. She graduated from the Department of Anthropology at National Taiwan University. She specializes in the mixed media of ink, watercolor, stylus, and fabrics. Her colorful paintings convey the vitality and abundance of body, mind and spirit generated by the combination of human beings, environment and culture. In the summer of 2016, she founded her own brand, Phyllis van CHUA, to inspire people to value art and aesthetics, and to nourish the mind, body, and soul through artwork. She expertise shines in vibrant mixed-media artworks that capture the richness of life’s essence and the depth of the human spirit. Her works have graced both group and solo exhibitions in various global cities, including Taipei City, Shanghai, London, Paris, Dubai, Zurich, Monaco, Amsterdam, New York City, Singapore, and Sydney.
