Born in 1994, Alessandro Giugni graduated in Law with top marks from the University of Milan and for over 15 years he has been assiduously engaged in the study and in-depth study of every single aspect of photography in general. In recent years, having become a professional photographer, he has found his genre of reference in reportage, giving life to some works that have been both published and exhibited in museums in numerous exhibitions in Italy and Europe. He loves photography due to the fact that he considers this art form both a means of expressing himself and the main vehicle through which to talk about our time.

His photographic works are never the result of chance: he loves to observe society, its evolutions, the behaviors and expressions of the people around him, thus giving life to thoughtful projects that are the result of meticulous study. Over the years he dedicated himself almost exclusively to black and white and began to use film with increasing frequency, eventually becoming his main means of expression. This choice depends on several factors: the non-immediate visualization of the shots, the pleasure of dealing with chemistry, the desire to master each phase of the creative process, learning to also manage the development phase according to the needs of the case. Furthermore, through film it is possible to build a “material” archive, otherwise impossible to create through digital means alone.
