Both a source of inspiration and a recovery in bad times, Art has always compassed her as a student first, a teacher of Art later, and above all as a person.
In the last few years she has been dedicating herself to the exploratory investigation of reality and humanity through a careful but never pedantic combination of light and shadow. Favouring oblique light to diffused one; painting to any other artistic practice, her pictorial trait unveils the strong emotional expressive contrasts of her characters’ glaze and attitude. So much that what origins from a body or a face gets rid of its subjectivity and consistency and turns into something universal and transcendent.
