Claudio Ricciolini is a self-taught painter born in 1954 in the region of Umbria in Italy. He started to embrace his passion for painting at the early age of 20 by producing abstract art expressing his vision of life and representing emotional aspects of his imagination.

Due to his career obligations, Claudio traveled and worked in many different parts of the world for a number of years. As a result of this he had to put his passion for painting aside, at least for the time being.

Now in retirement Claudio has rekindled his passion for art and painting, creating works that he describes as ‘Eclectic Art’ since his production shows influences of action painting, informal art, and always experimenting with new techniques.

He currently spends his time with his wife Carla between the California Bay Area and Italy.
