Irene Finato in Montecchio Maggiore in the province of Vicenza in 1970. From a very young age she loved drawing and at the age of thirteen she created her first oil painting on canvas.
She obtained her artistic high school diploma at the Valdagno high school and subsequently undertook studies in the field of communication and design in Verona, a sector which she then continued professionally.
Over the years she has participated in collective exhibitions and impromptu artistic events.
Her pictorial passion leads her to delve into the techniques of watercolor and oil color, preferring the latter. Fascinated by the art of the French Impressionists, she adopts a path of experimentation with color in the multiple shades given by the light that illuminates the various figurative and naturalistic subjects.
She loves a realistic style but at the same time moves away from it to pursue the search for emotions. In fact, her painting reproduces moments, places, glances, memories, in the constant need to capture the beauty of shapes and colors.
The figurative genre fascinates her and she has created several portraits on commission, always in search of expressiveness and feelings. In 2016 she commissioned a 3 meter high altarpiece located inside the Church of Altavilla Vicentina, a painting that interprets the Holy Family, entirely with the oil on canvas technique.
In 2017 she exhibited in a personal exhibition in Sossano entitled “Impressions in nature” and in 2023 he participated with some recent works in an artists’ exhibition in the city center of Lugano, Switzerland.
