Marco Angelo Pepe’ was born in Aosta to a Calabrian father and an Aosta Valley mother. He spent his childhood in Pont St Martin (AO). From the age of seven he began painting unknown eyes and symbols on the walls and, invariably, spirals that appear in many of his works.

At the age of fifteen he set out on his own path, leaving his family of origin and moving to Baio Dora, a small hamlet in the municipality of Borgofranco d’Ivrea, where he will continue his artistic journey. In 2008, following a ufological experience that touched him deeply, the need arose to transport his art onto canvas. And in January 2023 he reported the experience by publishing Arte Aliena di Marco Angelo Pepè, on sale on all portals.

To create his works he uses the most varied materials, depending on what his unconscious suggests to him, while he ‘absents’ himself to immerse himself in that world that he himself defines as “another dimension”, thus he gives rise to “Artealiena” . To date, he has created more than a thousand canvases and an estimated two thousand murals in private homes, schools and commercial activities.

The first public event involving a work on canvas takes place in Paris and Tbilisi, Georgia. He won several prizes for participation in international exhibitions until he won first prize at the international Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition in Florence. Arrived among the ninety finalists of the “Artist of the Year” competition in Monreale (Palermo). Selected for the 2021 Milan Biennale and the Vittorio Sgarbi exhibition. Posted on Art Now.
